New stuff to close out the month....

Hi world,

Well I haven't been out shooting much in the past week because there are turntables sitting in my living room and I can't help but jump on them and continue my studies. As I probably stated before I love music more than anything, and to learn how to blend different genre's and music styles is some fun ass shit. I am in love again. Djing is all I wanna do when I have free time. When I wake up, when I get off of work, any time I have now I'm practicing. I'm not the type of person to just half ass learn something. When I find something I like I like to learn all the angles so that I can be good at it really quickly. So, that's where I've been all this week. Sorry if anyone is really reading this.

Anyway I shot some stuff of the baby before I started my new found glory of a hobby. I also have a bunch of "Stories of the Nite" stuff that I've yet to work on. I shot over 100 pictures of that series but I can't put all of them on the site. So if your interested in seeing all of the work please feel free to email me and I'll gladly send you a online slide show.

Crazy Tracks

Hi world,

I love music. I'm exposed to so much that it's hard to keep up. Right now since I've been learning to Deejay I've been listen to a lot of dance tracks. A lot of these tracks are purely made for dancing and shouldn't be taken seriously and some of the other ones are strokes of genius. My friend Johnny put me on to some crazy shit that blows my mind. Zomby is probably the craziest producer that I've ever heard. enjoy...

Hard at Work...

Hi world,

Well I'm in a great place right now with my work. I'm completely inspired, overjoyed by the world around me that the images are pouring out me. When I'm driving or riding my bike in my wonderful city I just notice things that are jaw dropping and I feel that I have to go back and capture them. I LOVE MY City! Every aspect of it inspires me. I just hate the way some photographers shoot it. Every local photographer that shoots the city captures the same shit. AND I MEAN EVERY ONE OF THEM. Sorry if "you" whoever "you" are gets offended, but it's true. I'm not impressed with any of ya'lllllllll. Grow a pair and shoot something real, the tourist will love it I'm sure.....

I can't explain in to words what Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan does for me. I can not speak the language, but I understand the expression and the feel of this piece of music. The harmonies, the tones, the pitches they reach are unparallel. They have a timing that they follow I'm sure but it just pure music. I have a couple of his albums and I listen to it when I'm out shooting. It sets the tone of my work. I f-ing love it.

As much as want to hate these people...

I f**king hate the state of Hip Hop today, but two of my good friends are DJ's and they have turned me on to shit that I would never ever listen to. Gucci Mane, of all people. Never would I ever buy an album but I love some of the remixes that they play me of his songs. Drake I'm learning to love, because he's actually a pretty good rapper. Lil Wayne there are no words. This guy is insane, I was watching video's with my daughter because we like to dance and on one channel for four hours they played nothing but Lil Wayne video's. This guy is everywhere. He never stops working. I admire that in a man. Even if I don't respect a lot things that he does. I respect that he does what he says. It's hard for me to follow through with a lot things that i want to accomplish and to see someone my age doing it is pretty cool.

That's how I feel.
